On Saturday 28th April Gumballers arrived from all over the world and head to ‘registration’ at the famous Brands Hatch race circuit to be entertained by the Irish A1 GP race team at the British round of the A1 Grand Prix. After a few laps around the circuit in front of the crowds, all 120 cars headed into London to party the night away inside the famous Trocadero on Piccadilly Circus with an all star line up of bands and DJs performing!

On Sunday 29th April from Central London Pall Mall was the place to be with cars going on display all day as the flag dropped at 4PM and 120 of the most amazing cars (including an A1 Grand Prix car), rockstars, supermodels, billionaires and eccentrics set off for the ride of their lives, heading to their first checkpoint in Amsterdam during the Queens Day Birthday celebrations. The endurance continued thru’ the night to reach Frankfurt Hahn airport where all 120 cars were airlifted by Gumballs own Antonov cargo planes to Asia.

Upon touching down in the Asian side of Turkey, Gumballers then make their way 3000 miles back to London, navigating the route with their CoPilot GPS and partying all the way! First stop is on Bagdat Street in Istanbul marking the end of stage one in front of an estimated crowd of 3 million people. With a party that evening in the cities hot spot ‘Reina’ nightclub on the shores of the famous Bosporus River, the following morning the adventure heads for Thessaloniki, and by evening reaches Athens in time for an extravagant rooftop party at the Hilton Hotel over looking the amazing Acropolis. From Greece the rally heads north, and is ‘escorted’ by the UN into Albania where the participants were hosted for dinner in Tirana at the Presidential Palace, followed by attending a live ‘Gumball music concert’ for the people of Albania in association with the United Nations to promote ‘peace and friendship’ in the region. From Albania, cars headed north to the stunning walled city of Dubrovnik and onwards through Croatia to Slovakia, where an amazing party took place in Bratislava’s famous UFO watch tower. Next day, the endurance continued on through the Czech Republic to Berlin – where east meets west as another glamorous ‘Bond style’ party rocked thru’ the night, as Gumball fever took over Europe!

The final stage took Gumballers back to London to cross the ‘3000 mile’ finish line on Parliament Square in front of the famous Big Ben on Saturday 5th May. The finish party and ‘awards ceremony’ that evening rocked central London, as everyone found out “just who has won the coveted ‘Spirit of the Gumball Trophy!”
