Amir Williams has recently been recovering from a foot injury but this has not stopped him from being busy. Aside from practicing for some upcoming competitions, he has been working on a new trick that he can use for his upcoming tour with DC, which will be featured in February's Sidewalk magazine.
He has also been showing off his new tricks on a video that he has made for Listen and is putting together tracks for an album entitled 'Freestyles from the Crypt' that he hopes to release soon. If anyone wants a free copy he has welcomed Gumballers to e-mail him and ask. Amir currently skates for Karma Skateboards and DC Shoes as well as Gumball 3000.
He is a good all round skateboarder whose natural ability to skate everything from street to competitions made him one of the first choices to get on the Team. In 2006 he earned a respectful top ten finish at the Spirit Urban Games and has continued to improve up the skating ladder of fame despite recovering from knee surgery in 2007.
