Ever wanted to know what a day in the life of a professional surfer was like? Well team surfer Andrew Griffin has been kind enough to share an average day with us. Prepare to be jealous...

8:00AM Wake up
8:01AM press snooze and go back to sleep
9:00AM wake up for the 8th time and eventually get out of bed, check emails and surf reports, grab a shower and breakfast etc, before I have to go to work.
9:45AM Go to beach, set up Surf school at Holywell Bay school of Surf, meet customers etc.
10:30AM Start surf lesson
12:30AM Finish lesson, after the lesson, I have a bit of lunch, I try to get hold of Jason Feast (photographer from www.dailysurf.net) then play table tennis down the beach for an hour or so.
2:00PM Get pissed off that I just lost almost every game of table tennis, so go for a surf instead.
3:00PM Feasty turns up, waves are pretty rubbish, but try and get a few water shots. Pretty difficult to link up when it’s small and onshore but get the odd shot, but got to wait and see how they turn out.
4:30PM Get out of the surf, and try to redeem my self at table tennis. I play Asho, Tim and Mumbles who aren’t that good so I can actually win a game or two.
5:30PM Girlfriend comes down the beach, as I’m learning to drive, I put the L-plates on her car and drive back home. I thought I drove ok, but Alice thinks different. We made it in one piece so I can’t have been that bad…….Could I?
6:30PM Have some dinner, then grab a shower and get ready to head into town.
8:00PM Pick up Noodle, on the way into town and scare him with my driving, and meet the Newquay boy’s for a few drinks before we head out.
9:00PM Eddy makes a beer bong, out of his hose and an empty bottle, as we have a Keg of Ale which was left over from someone’s birthday the week before.
10:30PM Head into town, have a couple more drinks, meet up with a few more mates I went to school with.
11:30PM go to Sailors nightclub, then the rest of the night is a bit of a blurrrr…
2:30AM Start to get a bit bored, and a bit hungry, so get a Kebab and head back to my mates place for a few games of Pro Evo.
4:00AM Pass out on the couch, and that’s the end of the day……
