Michael Jackson’s gaudy stretch Rolls Royce is among over 2,000 items being auctioned off by the trouble singer in Beverly Hills next month.
The pop star, who narrowly avoided becoming a smooth criminal after ‘that’ court case in 2005, personally designed the 24-carat gold leaf interior of the Silver Seraph limousine which resembles the Palace of Versailles Vegas style.
The limo, which is expected to reach in excess of $140,000, is one of eight cars on offer. Other automotive lots include a ‘Neverland’ fire truck, a golf cart with an airbrushed painting of Jackson as Peter Pan on the bonnet, and a Harley Davidson police-liveried motorbike.
Other notable items being sold off include Jackson's famous white jewelled glove, the entry gates to the Neverland Ranch in California, and an oil painting of the former King of Pop dressed as a king?
Any Gumballers looking to drive Jackson's former limo on this year's rally will have just one week to get the beast roadworthy. The car, along with all of the auction's lots will be viewable at a public exhibition at 9900 Wilshire Blvd. from 14th to the 21st April, with the auction taking place from the 22nd to the 25th April.
Suggestion that the auctioneer won’t stop ‘til he’s got enough remained unconfirmed at time of going to press.
