Jamiroquai singer Jay Kay was left reeling this morning after a mystery attack on his £900,000 Ferrari Enzo.
The car-loving star arrived at Suffolk seaside resort Aldeburgh last night for a spot of fishing. However, having left the 227mph supercar to the elements for the evening, the singer woke this morning to find the driver’s side window and windscreen smashed.
The 39-year old star denied reports of a row prior to the attack, although a 21-year old pastry chef at the £140 per night Hotel Brudenell, in which Kay was staying, was arrested today on suspicion of causing damage to the car.
“There was no bust-up or anything like that. I don't know anything about what happened last night,” claimed the musician who is alleged to be worth £40 million. “I just came out in the morning and discovered it. There you go - you have got it first hand from the boss.”

Endearing himself to the locals, Kay apparently conversed with a visitor to the hotel on his arrival: “Jay Kay shouted at me to come over,” claimed the Aldeburgh resident.
“He had seen me arrive in my car and wanted to talk about it, I was driving a Supra. He said it was not in the same league as his car.”
According to the Daily Mail, a Ferrari expert claimed the car, that the singer tastefully refers to as his ‘black wife’, could cost up to £30,000 to repair.
