Gumball sponsors Monster Energy are rolling out the big guns for this year’s rally by entering a host of big name drivers, two high-octane motors and what can only be described as a monster truck.
Legendary pro-BMX rider Dave Mirra and Vivid Racing boss Dan Mermelstein will be following Dave’s first season as a pro-rally driver by taking part in a gold wrapped BMW 750li.
Elsewhere on the grid will be new Monster signing, pro-drift car driving and regular Gumball blogger Derek ‘Buttsy’ Butler who will be driving the 3,000-mile route in his Lexus Soarer competition drift car.
Taking up the rear in Monster’s enormous Chevy Fun Mover tour truck will be two-time Olympic silver medallist snowboarder Danny Kass, who will be accompanied by Dingo – the co-host of their US TV show, 'Danny & the Dingo'.
