Gumball 3000 brought a large glossy bright dose of and glamour to a soggy Saturday morning in San Francisco.

As always thousands of fans turned up to watch and cheer on the start of an eight day adventure for Gumballers; and they were not disappointed! 

On show was a parade of Ferraris, Porsches, Range Rovers as well as one 60's-era VW bus.

Actor and German pop sensation David Hasselhoff spoke to fans and stood for photo's next to his old friend KITT.  Male model Tyson Beckford turned up with an array of extremely tall and beautiful women.

All this and of coarse the flamboyantly dressed musicians, and pro skateboarders that always company the Gumball rally.

They will now all be making their way to LA and Las Vegas behind the wheels of souped-up sports cars and vintage hot rods on what is already looking like another exciting rally.
