Adam is about to head for Europe to kick off the second leg of the European Longboard Tour.
Adam is fully pumped and ready to go, we just managed to catch up with him a few days before he was leaving for France.
This is what he had to say about the tour at the time. "I'm really excited for this part of the tour as France normally has really good waves at this time of the year & the weather fingers crossed can't be any worse than it has been in England.
Last year Adam finished 3 overall on the tour, so what's he looking to do this year.
"I would like to finish in the top 3 again, ideally number one. but we shall see as there is still 3 more contests to after these two in france. But im feeling confident I Have just changed my board shaper i still ride skindog surfboard but Chris Harris now shapes the boards and they look amazing I pick up my new boards tomorrow then straight into the van and up to the ferry port for the night crossing."
So when do these contests start? How many contests are there in total on the tour!
"The french contests start on the 6th/7th of September and then the following weekend 13th/14th. Then we have a few weeks off then down too Morocco for 4th/5th October. Few more weeks off then the final leg off the tour which is in portugal on the 25th/26th October & 1st/ 2nd of November. The contests work on the best 5 results out of the 6 contests wins.
There has all ready been one contest in jersey UK in July where I finished 7th, so I'm looking to better that."
